Design consultation
We start with the building and the ambition, not a quote. We talk through the property, how the roof is seen and your energy goals. Then we say honestly what solar can achieve, although we never promise more than the roof allows.
Survey & feasibility
A measured survey covers pitch, orientation, structure and covering. This shows what is genuinely possible. We assess shading and output alongside looks, because later choices then rest on fact.
Planning & consent
For heritage projects, this is where the work is won or lost. We confirm the planning position, from permitted development to listed building consent. We also prepare the design case while we talk to the conservation officer.
Detailed design & specification
We choose the right technology and set the array out against the architecture. We settle junctions and cable routes early, because late changes cost money. The result is a clear specification for the whole team.
Installation & integration
We install the system as a considered part of the building. We work with the roofer because the join between roof and array matters most. The aim is clean margins and a roof that reads as one surface.
Commissioning & aftercare
We commission the system and hand over the documents you need. We also stay in touch afterwards, since a good roof should generate quietly for decades.
The order matters. Integrated solar forms part of the roof, so the earlier we join, the better the result. The ideal time to call us is while the drawings are still open.
