Ok, that quote was written by William Shakespeare, but it proves one thing. Headlines for posters and advertisements are an essential attention-grabbing device. Good copy-writing draws in the consumer or potential customer. It says very quickly and succinctly what the product is about, what the message is that's being conveyed. It can be humorous or it can be conservative. It can be bold or it can be mellow. Either which way, it's the basis for the visual idea and the two, both the idea and the image, must work hand in hand to deliver the message. Customers respond to copy-writing. By creating a headline alongside interesting imagery, one is engaging both the intellect and the emotions. This is far more productive than just one or the other and by doing so, the message goes deeper.

Of course, decent copy-writing goes far beyond just press advertising, and radio commercials and TV commercial sound-beds require just the right amount of information to be written in an engaging, informative and exciting manner within either a 10, 20 or 30 second timeframe. We have written and produced many commercial sound-beds, both TV and radio.
